Have you ever felt like you were doing everything “right” but still totally misaligned? That was me. I had the six-figure tech job, the polished professional image, and the constant low-level feeling that something was missing.
I didn’t “believe” in astrology. In fact, I used to roll my eyes at horoscopes thinking it was all so generic and over the top. But the truth is, I was quietly craving more insights, something deeper, more soulful, more… for me.
What happened next changed everything.
This is the story of how astrology changed my life and how it might just change yours too.

From Skeptic to Seeker: Why the 9-to-5 No Longer Worked for Me
Before I started reading birth charts and talking about Neptune transits on the internet, I was a full-on muggle (you know the kind from Harry Potter land?). Not the cutest either. I mean science-only-brained, spreadsheet-loving, six-figure-salary skeptic with zero interest in anything cosmic.
Horoscopes? Please. I rolled my eyes so hard they nearly left my body.
But beneath the surface, I secretly wanted to believe there was more. I just didn’t know how to give myself permission.
Back then, I was a high-achieving, hustle-forward woman of logic, working in a male-dominated tech field. Dependable. Data-driven. Successful…on paper. But I was starving for something I couldn’t name.
Spirituality felt too fluffy, too unmeasurable… too vulnerable.
Still, I had this quiet obsession with ancient civilizations. Mayan temples, Egyptian rituals, and stories of secret knowledge being passed down from generation to generation, I could lose myself in documentaries for hours.
But I kept that curiosity hidden. Being “that girl” with a moon journal and a crystal in her bra? Not the image I thought I was allowed to have.
Spoiler alert: I am that girl now. And it’s glorious.

The Uranus Opposition: When the Soul Says “No More”
Eventually, the universe stopped whispering and started yelling.
At around age 42, I hit my Uranus opposition, a major astrological transit that marks a kind of cosmic reckoning. It happens when Uranus returns to the exact opposite spot it held at the time of your birth.
Translation? Buckle up. Your soul is about to stage a rebellion.
What a Uranus Opposition Means for Your Life Path
Well, for some people, it's not that much of a thing, you know?
For me, it was like the ground dropped out beneath everything I thought I knew. My job, my relationships, even my sense of self, all of it started to crumble.
I told my therapist at the time, ‘I’m not being authentic’, even if I couldn’t explain it. But I felt it in my bones that something was completely off.
Perhaps for you, it could be something like where:
- You question your identity
- You crave radical change
- You start seeing the cracks in your carefully curated life
Doesn't sound fun, huh? Yea, that's what I thought so too.
Letting Go of Logic: Leaving My Career Without a Backup Plan
Eventually, I did the unthinkable. I left my six-figure career with no backup plan, no side hustle, and no logical reason beyond a soul-level knowing that I couldn’t keep living like that.
I was terrified. But weirdly liberated too.
We’re taught to follow the script, work hard, save money, retire at 65. But at 42, I ripped up the script. And yeah, I had gray hairs and a lot of doubt and no idea what was next. But I also had something I’d never had before: trust.

How Astrology Helped Me Find Myself
Somewhere in the foggy in-between, astrology entered the chat.
At first, I was curious. Then skeptical. Then… completely obsessed.
The first time I saw my full birth chart, I felt more seen than I ever had in my life. Not just the shiny traits, but the shadow stuff too. The parts I had stuffed down or labeled “too much.” My chart didn’t just describe who I was. It explained me.
If you’re starting to feel that pull too, toward something deeper, something soul-aligned, you’ll love this guide: 11 Practical Ways to Use Astrology for Your Spiritual Path. It gives you ideas for how to use astrology and energy practices as a tool for self-remembrance and direction.
That’s the moment astrology stopped being a “woo” curiosity and became a tool for self-discovery.
Here’s the thing: astrology isn’t about predicting your future. It’s a mirror. One that shows you who you already are both the magic and the mess.
For example, I’m a Cancer Sun. Which means: hello, emotional rollercoaster. I feel all the things, all the time, and I’m really good at pretending I’m fine when I’m actually spiraling.

Neptune and Saturn in Pisces: My Personal Astrology Journey
Starting around 2011, Neptune began transiting Pisces and for me, that meant years of spiritual fog.
Everything I thought I was? Dissolved.
During this time, I dove deep into spiritual practices: meditation, sound healing, journaling, plant medicine, dance, and lots of quiet.
If you’ve ever felt like that like you’re dissolving but not quite sure into what, Neptune might be playing a role in your chart too.

Saturn in Pisces: Structure Returns
Then came March 2023.
Saturn moved into Pisces and finally, things clicked. Like the fog lifted just enough for me to say, “Oh. I see the path now.”
Saturn brought structure to the dreams I’d been dancing around for years. It gave me the push to stop waiting and start sharing. To stop doubting and start teaching.
Today, I teach astrology full-time through Quest Mystic and my membership community, The Unveiled Path Circle.
I work with spiritually curious women who are asking the same questions I once did: Who am I really? And who am I becoming?
Astrology isn’t about fate (although the ancients spent ALOT of time contemplating fate vs. free will). I believe its about remembrance. It’s a language for the soul and once you start speaking it, you can never unknow it.
If you’re in the messy middle, craving something real, something ancient, something that calls to your soul… trust that tug.
You’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re remembering. You’re returning to who you’ve always been.
And if you want a little guidance along the way, I’m here.

To the Spiritually Curious: You’re Not Alone
Spirituality can feel weird. That’s okay. It’s not supposed to make perfect sense, it’s supposed to make truthful sense.
So if you’ve been side-eyeing your intuition, trying to logic your way through a soul tug… maybe it’s time to let yourself believe. Just a little. Just enough to crack the door.
Learning astrology path is about exploration, curiosity, and releasing a grip on what you think is true, and inviting the mystery of life in.
Astrology can help you:
- Identify your gifts and challenges
- Heal old wounds
- Reclaim your voice
- Feel less alone
It’s one of the most validating, empowering tools I’ve ever used and I want you to experience that too.
